EPISODE 13 - Hourglvss
As they just have finished their UK Tour, we certainly couldn't miss the Hourglass, bewitched as we are by their single "Johnny" and charmed by the Morriconian atmospheres of "Dead Man's Hand". We went to listen to them at The Grace to deepen what they describe as "fantasy pop", a style that include fashion, visual concept and music, which makes them unique in the current music scene. Here are the Hourglvss in this new Episode, all for you.
Episode 1: Holloway Road
After listening and reviewing them (as well as singing our hearts out ...) we went to Milton Keynes to interview the Holloway Road: a blend that distills the best from country and pop, drawing the greatest music tradition of the U.K. and the U.S., with freshness and originality. Jack and Robert are brilliant songwriters with clear ideas, capable of shaping intense and easy-to-listen musical gems. Website: https://brexhip.com Band: https://www.hollowayroadmusic.com/

Once Upon Us : project documentary
Once Upon Us is a composite art project by Immuto in collaboration with sound artist Alessandro Baldessari, choreographer Riccardo Buscarini, Professor Vardhman Rakyan and Queen Mary University of London. Inspired by the latest medical research on how our environment influences our genetic expression and how memories could move across generations through DNA coding, Once Upon Us launches as part of the London Festival of Architecture of June 2019 and explores the blurring boundaries of our individuality across space and time. From 26 June to 7 July, a participatory and sensory installation transmits memories gathered from across the world. The interaction of sound, reflections and changing light becomes a metaphor for the dance that involves the present we are, the past we contain and the future we are creating. On 27 June, audience and leading experts from different fields (from epigenetics to psychology and wisdom traditions) engage in a thought-provoking conversation about the interplay of ancient and new theories on the theme of ancestral memory. On 2 July and as part of the New Horizons in Genomics week at Queen Mary University, artists and scientists come together in a playful evening to build a sculptural installation that questions how our choices shape our relationship with ourselves and the world around us. Where and when do we start? Where and when do we end? Are the boundaries of who we are really as defined in time and space as we think? Concept by Alessandro Baldessari, Francesca Lando, Riccardo Buscarini. Choreography by Riccardo Buscarini. Sound by Alessandro Baldessari. Space by Francesca Lando. Video by Alessandro Mariscalco

The most unknown Italian band tours Japan. The whole story. Utveggi are an independent rock/prog band from Palermo, Italy. A group of five late 20s early 30s very close friends who decides, even without a solid fanbase outside their hometown, to venture into an unpredictable tour in Japan. Accompanied by their music, a mixture of cultures, languages and genres, this documentary is a journey through their ambitions, expectations and discoveries in a world culturally and geographically miles away. A manifesto of an entire generation always looking for a room in this world, for a chance to prove itself, even if that would mean fly to the other side of the world not knowing what to expect. A documentary shot, cut and produced by Alessandro Mariscalco. Sicilian Mood - Music, style and culture from the island - London, The Garage, 11 June 2017
Definitely one of the most vibrant and exciting nights this year. Sicilian Mood - Music, style and culture from the island, organised in the historical venue The Garage, by Luca Vullo and TIJ EVENTS and sponsored by Only in Sicily, Diforti's, Etnacoffee, Sicily Food Uk, and Ondemotive brought in London the colors, the taste, the sounds and the energy of Sicily, thanks to the amazing performances by Lello Analfino and Tinturia, Shakalab, Christian "Picciotto" Paterniti and The Gold Diggers, IPERcusSONICI and Jah Sazzah. This is only the first stop of a great adventure. I feel lucky to have taken part and filmed it. Enjoy!
